The teachers care about students' uniforms more than their mental health. My child is constantly being bullied. They have told the teachers and they haven't done anything! The teachers are really ignorant until Ofsted or any visitors come into the school! Honestly, I could make an entire list describing why the school is bad. Please improve.

Crofton academy has taken a massive fall. They were once quoted as a good school doing my research and being a year 9 student, I can confirm that it is not what it was, on the 2011 Ofsted report it Quotes ‘Coming to school is like coming to your second home … we all feel safe, everyone gets on with each other and teachers don’t talk down to us, they treat us as adults and we respond.’ This has clearly changed as it seems the headteacher asked all of the teachers to scream at kids and hope it works. Also, on the Ofsted report it quotes in the section to improve on. “ensuring that all teachers have high expectations of what the pupils can achieve” this furthers the point that the teachers have no hope in students. Also, it seems that they prioritise their money over students since they like to try everything to keep you in school. They also made a change from normal blue shirts which have to admit was a signature of the school and made you feel proud. They were replaced by nameless white shirts, we also have to wear blazers next year which will negatively affect it more. The teachers are no better, they like to be very controlling, if you are to take your tie off, you will be punished. off site you can be punished if you swear, fight or mess around near a house you can be punished. A few months ago, at the start of the year they banned students from going on a specific street. Stuff they can Improve. ! Improve the behaviour policy to before. ! Bring back the old signature Crofton Academy Blue shirts. ! Make sure Mr Pool Stops Shouting at kids. ! The Inspiration Children have for the future ! Being able to have more access to Online Devices ! harsher on phones in school but intern let them be used at break Stuff Going Well: ! Support for Children with Disabilities ! The Leadership ! The curriculum ! the support for Children Going through harsh times. Overall the school needs some drastic measures to be put in place for the pupils or people will go to nearby academy’s instead of Crofton. Crofton is not forgiving on pupils which needs to be fixed This is my view on the school and will not be taken as fact or fiction This concludes my rating. Over all mediocre 3 stars

Do not send your children to this school. The teachers bully students and pretend other. They are more focused on disciplinary procedures than making learning enjoyable and fun. I think they may even get commission for the detentions they set. If I could rate a zero star, i would. I am desparately trying to get my son out asap before they sha#tter his spirit completely.

I attended this high school due to my visual impairment and plenty of provisions were made to accomodate my visual impairment in a way that still allowed me to learn alongside other people my own age without being singled out as 'the disabled kid'.

One of the toughest and harshist prison ever its got even worse since i left! The inmates have no rights anymore no freedom at all and they have done hardly aanythig wrong the only responsible people for HMP croftons downfall is the head staff espically mrs bree and mr hardcastle unfortunately the head teacher mr walker (a respectable guy) is bieng a puppet on ofsteds and mrs hardcastle and mrs brees string thet are controlling him becuase there spiteful and think inmates dont deserve rights
