Fantastic dog focused and fun training. Ringo is a 17 month old goldie who pulled on the lead and would recall when he felt like it. Kate was brilliant at giving me simple fun tips to help us understand each other. We’d tried other training but found it very strict, and it seemed to break Ringo’s spirit. Ringo has his mojo back, and still has his lovely happy personality but I can walk him well now on a loose lead, and his recall is fab! Thanks Kate!

I am located in the US so all my learning is done remotely and with videos. For me, this is the best way to go with dog training! Kate Bond has created a family of followers and members and everyone is treated with kindness and respect. Her approach is from the ground up and is behavior-based. I wish I had found her sooner!

I could not speak any more highly of both Kate Bond and being part of the Golden Academy. I found the group when my dog 6 months, I was lost and overwhelmed. I found myself reading so many conflicting advice and my gorgeous pup was heading into adolescence. The ease of online learning works well with our busy life, without compromising quality. Being breed specific training allows you to tap into what's right for our goofy Goldies. You can take it at your own pace and Kate is on hand to support all the way. The community has grown a lot of the time I have been a member , its such a supportive group where we support those bad moments and celebrate the wins ! Discovering good as golden dog training with Kate Bond is the best thing I ever did for me and my two year old golden retriever Molly. The video lessons are so easy to follow and the science behind it all shows Kates amazing knowledge and understanding of dogs but particularly goldens. I was having a lot of problems with Molly and through Kates teaching and support I have a better relationship with her and enjoy our walks again. Joining the academy gives you a support group through Facebook to share experiences as well as lots of teaching videos and weekly live Q and A sessions. Kate is also available to answer any specific questions when needed.The training is always through kindness and understanding and learning to communicate with your dog so they understand the behaviour you want. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend Kate to anyone with a golden retriever. I just wish I had known about her when Molly was a puppy so I could have stated the training earlier!!

I would highly recommend Kate Bond at The Golden Academy. We joined in July 2022 when our Golden Retriever (Olive) was 14 months old, we only wish we had found Kate sooner. Who would have a thought an online dog training academy would actually help! The advice and knowledge of this specific breed is fantastic. Doesn’t matter if you are getting a new puppy, are in adolescent stage or even an older golden the help and training in this group will help. We absolutely love sharing our wins and also fails so we can work on them. Olive has gone from a pulling, jumping, biting pup to a lovely calm loose lead walker in just a few months. Hands down the BEST trainer we have ever come across 💛

Having had 3 goldens & 2 Great Danes before I thought I knew most things with training. How wrong I was! Kate has given me such great advice and logical steps and exercises to follow - all broken down into small achievable ones. Brilliant and sensible dog training advice which really works. 6 months in and our 2 year old golden is turning into the dog we dreamed of. Our main challenge has been made so much better. Kate shares so much advice and knowledge and gives so much information to help all her members. Well worth every penny of the membership.

When we found the Golden Academy last year, we were at rock bottom. Most dog walks ended in tears and nearly every day, we regretted our decision to have a dog. That all changed since joining the Academy. Having the support, knowledge and shared experiences of the Golden Academy has improved our relationship with our pup and his life also, which is the most important thing. We’ve discovered more about his breed with the Academy than we ever would have found online and it’s information that’s 100% credible. Everyone is so supportive, sharing bad days as well as all the wins, even the small ones - they all matter. Thanks to the Golden Academy, we’re nurturing our pup into an anywhere dog and he’s happy, so we’re happy.

We’ve learned lots from Kate Bond since we joined her online training platform “The Golden Academy” not only do we have various modules to work through, we also have access to a Facebook group so we ask questions and get an expert answer to any issues directly from Kate. It’s also nice to have the support from others in the group. Every Sunday we join in on a live Facebook Q&A’s in order to ask questions. You get to learn all about the Golden Retriever breed including how to have a calm dog & one that will focus on you when out on walks. Not to mention recall and loose lead walking. I would 100% recommend The Golden Academy to anyone that owns a Golden Retriever. I would give 10 stars if we could ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Our fourth week and j is much better,. Still have a lot to go but Kate is fantastic so I know we can do it. Thank you Kate xx Well here I am again and I cannot thank Kate enough, she is a star. J has done really well this week on our walks, yes a few hiccoughs but much better than before. He showed Kate just how much he was progressing and he also showed her that I was improving too 😂. I would recommend Kate to anyone she has such a lovely way of putting you and your dog at ease. Very professional and knows exactly what is needed. Because of some of my problems she had to adapt some training but that was done with a smile. Thank you x
