Always a 5 star from me, Craig, Vicky and Matthew go above and beyond when it comes to looking after the animals in their care. Previously my 2 huskies went there and had the best time. They loved going. However my current girl is a very anxious rottie and not confident at all. They were fab with her, they helped Millie to feel safe and I can’t thank them enough. I will only ever use Oakenshaw, Charlotte :)

I was so nervous leaving my little ones for the first time. Oakenshaw were flawless in caring for my boys and keeping me updated whenever I emailed on their progress. They came home happy and clearly very well looked after . Thank you again to all staff there that took on my baby boys and cared so well for them . Big thumbs up. Will deffo be back

Been coming to Oakenshaw Boarding Kennels since 2018 when I moved to Wakefield. Easy to use website for booking. Everyone helpful, kind and looked after my dog each time. Home from home

We had to find somewhere for our frenchie at last minute due to the kennels we had him booked in at and had always used closing and luckily Oakenshaw could fit him in. We were a little nervous due to a bad experience once with another boarding kennel but we were soon put at ease when we arrived and met the staff and Pumbaa trotted off without a backward glance. Yesterday, we picked up a happy and healthy frenchie who even smelt good. We will certainly be bringing Pumbaa back next time we are away.

We took our 8 month old JRT Tommy for his first stay. He waddled off without a backwards glance, we were very shocked. Picked him up 4 days later he was very pleased to see us but had obviously been very well looked after. The only thing I would have liked would be to see where he was staying but we will be back

Once again . Excellent , lovely friendly kennel . My dogs were so well looked after . Definitely a 5 star hotel for dogs x My dogs don’t even look back when Matthew comes to take them to the kennel.

These kennels are amazing! Our 12 year old Milo had never been to kennels before as our son has always looked after him, but after recently moving his garden is not fully enclosed so it’s not safe for him. We were very concerned about boarding Milo because of his age and that he has only stayed with family, but we didn’t need to worry. He trotted off with Mathew and didn’t even look back. He has just come back from his second 4 day stay happy and healthy. Would definitely recommend Oakenshaw to anyone and would safely say your pets will be very well looked after. 5*

Absolutely fantastic. This was the first time that we had placed both of our boys in kennels. They came back immensely happy and very well looked after. A huge huge thank you to the team at Oakenshaw kennels. Will definitely be back !!

First time for my 6 month old Newfoundland (Oreo) using a kennel. I would highly recommend to anyone. As soon as we arrived they made a fuss of Oreo she is a nervous puppy at the minute and she was so calm and settled. She walked off with them to the kennel with no issues and was a happy bounding big puppy when we came to collect her. I will be using again. Thank you for looking after my big baby and taking such good care of her. 5*
